When I was still living under my parent's roof, my mom came home and said she had high blood pressure. "We are cutting out all salt!" I thought I would never get used to that. We went cold turkey. No salt or salt substitute. Now, some 50+ years later, I do not miss salt. I didn't realize it, but she did me a favor!
