Likely you smoked the converter (not inverter). Its used to create the 12v dc to charge your house battery for rv power when not connected. Inverter creates ac from a dc source. Converter creates dc from ac. That part can be swapped without too much trouble but will cost you a couple benjamins.

May consider putting in a lithium capable charger and swapping to a lithium house battery as they are almost in line price wise with lead batteries now but longer lifespan and more capacity. Litime battery from amazon are budget priced. 100ah would be comparable to a group 31 sized battery but you may wish for larger, up to you.

Thinkin about this depending upon how you wired the plug you could have smoked everything on one half of your breaker panel in the rv…. Hope you got lucky.
