C IL | I’m no fan of not paying as we go, but not sure it is rocket science that we are going to have huge entitlement spending as a population bulge of Boomers move into SS and Medicare and we need lots of pro-business policies to reform our economy which is at the end of a long arc of institutions needing to transform to meet new needs.
As far as predicting economic consequences on the revenue side, the only person who seems to have a consistently winning advice is Buffett who says don’t bet against American capitalism.
No amount of me worrying one way or the other is going to change the economy at large, so I just don’t lose sleep over it. |
