perryton, tx | I have a BH 8 row cultivator that does a really nice job. Since I’ve owned it it’s only been used as a rescue treatment for grass in milo, maybe a few hundred acres in certain years. The main issue is that it’s just so slow only doing 8 rows at a time so if it gets to the point where we’re having to do a lot of acres it would be time to look at something bigger. The nice thing about cultivating these days is with good GPS the machine can follow the planter rows dead on and rarely get any ‘cultivator blight’ plus it’s sure a lot less taxing on the guy running it. | |
