 MN | You can screw around with seals, turnbuckles, but the best way to solve it is put an angle iron on the tailgate, about 2.50" tall, that will glove just inside the box when it shuts. Then make sure you have pilot valves on the hydraulic cylinders that hold the door shut .
The angle iron makes a one pass labyrinth seal. It may trickle just a bit when bouncing down the road. If that's a concern, bolt rubber flaps to the angle iron. They will seal against the box when the grain rests on them. Don't make them too long or they will tear off when opening, or catch the box when you close the tailgate.
