| I wouldn’t go more than 20 points on a chisel or 9 points on a ripper. Less on a disk ripper like a 512. My MX240 had more than enough with a 14 point chisel on 16” and a 5 shank ripper on 30”. I’d try to be pretty conservative on how big you go. It’s a lot better to shift up and idle back in the easier pulling ground than to pull the guts out of your tractor in the tighter ground. | |
