| Well I have to admit that I have turned off the air in somewhat similar situations where issues were causing the coolant temp gauge to get a bit too close to the point where I would be shutting it down and I didn’t want to add any additional heat to the airflow through the radiator. I do think that actually did help a bit and I would guess it made much more of a difference than the removal of the slight extra load on the engine. It will be a minimal difference but I do think it helped with the cooling aspect. But that wasn’t a normal situation. | |
