We have a neighbor who does locker beef and always has extra hamburger for sale from a lame cow. We will buy 50 lbs at a time and it is sure handy to have around. My wife will fry up ten pounds at a time with some onion and freeze it in 1 pound bags. She can pull out a bag anytime for spaghetti sauce, taco meat or whatever.
