We pull a 17 shank glencoe with a 240hp Fendt. Handles it fine.
We are running 2” spikes and going 8” deep.
It’s getting to our compacted layer (find it first with a penetrometer). Just ripping 10-15” deep without first determining if you actually need to can be a serious waste of fuel and wear iron and won’t do the soil any good.
Chisel size?
