| Not thinking, I rigged up a pig talil for my 50 amp welder extension cord to fit the 30 amp RV cord. Forgetting that the welder is 220v - plugged it in, flipped the circuit breaker to on and heard a loud bang (quickly shutting off power). Smoke rolling out of fuse panel. So what blew up. There was a smallish cylinder tube that was shredded in pieces on the floor of the fuse panel . . . . . The water heater circuit breaker was tripped and slightly burnt. The 110v all seems to work in the fifth wheel with fan running, lights, fridge . . . . . SO, what blew ? Inverter ? But, still have power to 110v circuits. . . . . ? Any help appreciated, so I can at least tell the RV place what it maybe and not ell me something that isn't needed.
TIA !
