Dad used to say "Paper holds still, you can write anything on it, but I won't stand still for it"

It's becoming apparent that mom & dad were right about a lot of things.  You can no longer trust anything you see, read or hear because of artificial intelligence, not the computer one but the other one.  Those who have degree's and say things that just aren't true via the news, the internet and public meetings.

It's near impossible to find the truth of a matter.  One lies and another backs him/her up.  It's disheartening.
