I haven't ate beef in well over 20 years. Strictly venison unless I can find pork for less than a $1 a pound then I will buy some. I bought 40 pounds of pork chops for .82 cents a pound earlier this year. They tasted really good. Still have quite a bit left in the freezer.
Meijer, which is a major retailer here in the upper midwest had 80/20 hamburger for $1.96 a pound this past week. Our local store was selling it as fast as they could grind it.
Will consumers start switching to pork?
