My first thought was drugs, but then remembered a young man who was in debt to FHA. He couldn't sell the stock and he couldn't get money for feed.
This guy might have been in that spot and just gave up.
Also possible the dog was shot after chasing the cattle and the dog owner is getting revenge.
A puppy chasing the cattle in a pen...that were basically if not dead...then texting pictures of it to the owner and sending threats as well...what odd branch of life do you subscribe to?
Currently I don't see any reason to defend him, at all. Unless something changes, people like this should be shunned. Agriculture should be very willing to distance themselves from this.
How can one stand and watch cattle starve and thirst to death in a pen, in the winter?
No feed? Turn them out on the pasture, they'll find more than in the corrals, possibly quite a bit when they break into the neighbors and that triggers an investigation. Why take it out on an animal for your bad decisions or luck? |
