Should be 3 switches in the system. Low pressure switch (won’t let compressor turn on if Freon low), high pressure switch (shuts compressor off if high side pressure gets to high from a restriction or engine fan not cycling while stopped), and fan control switch.
You need to find the fan control switch and change that one first.
