i`ve been wondering that for years now. i have a "salmon test' where at fareway ribeyes were $12 and salmon was $16 or $1 oz. the ribeyes blew through that and are $20/lb so we`re in tulip mania territory right now. i used to eat a 16oz ribeye at a sitting, now one benefit of getting older is 8oz is plenty and a 12 oz i`m kind of miserable :-)
