NE WI | Those should not be welded to the carrier. There was a weak spot with the cast hanger as it was cut with corse thread and weak by the last thread. When these broke we cut out a slot in the hanger and welded in a 3/4” Erie grade 8 fine thread stud cut from a 6” bolt. Weld along the length and not across.
Find one not welded. There’s gotta be a few parked in the fence rows not being used.
