John Deere 6329D cracked liner near flange.

The liners from reliance that had the cracked one have a rolled radius around the bottom and top of the flange. I wonder if running too much bolt torque could have done this? I torqued it to 110ft/lbs but I'm running the shorter 4.25 inch head bolts from the original 329d setup. They call for 95ft/lbs which is what they are torqued to right now. I'm sticking it back together now to see what's gonna happen. Any help or input is greatly appreciated.
