I always make sure that the price is stated up front, I like to do it by e-mail so that both of us can look back and see what was stated. You should not have to if price was clearly stated on the front end but could offer to split the difference, if price was not stated kind of shame on both of you, boils down to how bad you want him as a customer in the future.
