Subject: RE: Nebraska drought

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
We were on the south end of that yesterday. West of me 20 miles didnt get anything. I had .80". 4 miles from me had 1.20" to 3.50". heard reports to my southeast of 5".
Thats kind of how it's been all spring. very spotty.
Overall we're hanging in fairly well. Some better than others. We had a very dry winter and spring until after mid May. Since then we have had around 6" of rain in the past 6 weeks.
At times, some corn has showed quite a bit of stress. Later corn is small. It’s doing very well for now.
We can go a week or two without rain now but we’ll need some more rain later to make a crop.
