 Pittsburg, Kansas | All of our cell walls are made up of lipids. Fats. Some cells "turn over", or in other words replaced, fairly rapidly. Blood cells around 90 days. Things like nerve or brain cells several years. Other cells like muscle in between.
I suspect that is taking into account average cell turnover and so how long it takes to get rid of the cells with the compromised lipids contained in the cell walls.
