I believe the 2nd Amendment (one of the Bill of Rights that never shall be infringed upon) is quite different than the 14th. That "subject to the jurisdiction" part is certainly debatable. Especially when you go back and look at the discussions that were being had at the time of writing and passing both of those Constitutional Amendments.
