I cook 3 or 4 batches a year using mostly slow cooked pork butt. I’ll clean out the pantry of vegetables that have been stacking up. Green beans, potatoes, Lima beans, okra, whole kernel corn, sliced carrots. Several BBQ places in West Ky also add mutton but I have not. Always heavy on the meat. Good BBQ sauce and a little hot sauce.
