For the sake of comparing should also consider if the oil was cold pressed or refined. Found quick article on processing

https://shayandcompany.com/blog/oil-processing-methods-and-what-they...

Different types oils have different atttributes and the way they are processed can change those attributes.

I use extra virgin and virgin olive oil sometimes. Coconut oil, but high in fat. Peanut oil has high smoke point as grapeseed . Depends what I am cooking.

Seed oils can be used in lip balm, shampoos, body butter and the oils have attributes for those health products also. Number years ago for a gift got my daughter bought ingredients for making lip balm and body butter. I wanted something she could make, accomplish, educational.

The debate which is better, both have attributes good and bad from what I have read. Some seed oils are better for a person and some are worse. I researched this 3 or 4 years ago tallow vs seed oils and my conclusion is. 6 of one half dozen of another. Depends on how much a person uses and consumes seed oils same with beef tallow. Tallow has vitamins support good health, also high in saturated fats. Either in high consumption is not healthy.

I try use cold pressed seed oil.

The real way to come conclusion is do your own research. Happy 4th
