Faunsdale, AL | Only you can say if the plywood will do the job, but I can tell you you don’t want to take the chance.
I helped a relative butcher a bull that never got to the pasture to breed the first cow. It was hard to convince him that his investment was already gone and the only thing left was to kill and process the bull before the meat was spoiled. There’s no recovering from the sort of injuries that come from stepping through a bad trailer floor.
I would do as others have suggested, take the new flooring and temporarily put it over the old instead of the plywood.
