My Grandpa in Jacksonville would stay up all night to make his own once a year. Never was a big fan of the Franklin recipe. Too many bones. Arenzville burgoo I like. Never have had Winchester's. I've read that it possibly came around here with the French explorers but more likely up through here with all the settlers from Kentucky.
