I have the NH version of that one, and in our case in heavy hay it has been tedded the day before so it is not glued down to the stubble. One thing that might be the problem is the wheels are not 90 degrees to the ground, if they are worn and leaning a little they will skip over, and old teeth seem to be weaker, and heavy hay can just overload it.
