SW Ohio | I had problems with my 7210 overheating oil when running PTO, ex JD mechanic said it was the air pump, and sure enough it was. The front section gets lube oil from the back but has no gravity passage to return the oil to the back, so it is pressurized by the air pump to push the oil through a higher up route. In my case the air pump failed ( really small piston pump with check valve), maybe in your case the return route is plugged, probably with clutch material (or your air pump is also failed and you are getting lube pressure buildup). In any case it requires a split | |
