Became a “Farmhand” but I think they were originally under another name. They brought rolls of flat iron strip too the field, rolled it into “spiral welded pipe” and left in a cloud of dust…..Might have been “Dowd”?
I was fascinated as a youth, too find a Farmhand Walking Sprinkler” brochure amongst my Dad’s old files. No idea what’s become of it.
