Jeffersonville, OH | Check the 3A fuse in the engine fuse box first, that's a ground fuse that I think can cause that.
Also, F8 in the fuse box in the cab could be related.
Do you have your manuals for the fuse charts?
71 code is a loss of communication between the dash and engine controller.
55 is a loss of communication between the coolant temp sensor and the dash.
Basically, your engine ECM is offline, check the 3A ground fuse in the engine fuse panel.
