Unless there's more to this story, it sounds like an opportunity, not a problem.

His health is alot of it but we’ve also had trouble getting along for awhile. As I said we’re 50/50 but when it comes to spraying, fertilizing, planting, running a combine and nearly all the mechanicing, I’m doing all of that. I’ve mentioned it to him several times over the years to help spray or help plant and he basically has had an excuse or refuses. He told me prior to this year, he’d help spray. Never once offered. Told me he’d do the side dressing. Never once did any of it and I called him out on it. My wife and everyone else has seen this over the years and I’ve held my tongue for a long time but I’m tired of being took advantage of. Some of this is my fault but I tried to keep this thing going and it’s hard to do, when it’s like this.
After I said my piece to him a couple days went by and he seemed ok. When his tractor broke down, that was the last straw. He walked out on his dad(my grandpa) just like this in the early 90’s, forcing him to retire.
