There are a couple on the 16-17. One is there's a shield plate they recommend you cut off that's supposed to shield dirt and talks about the deck plates. We have a 17 and did it on ours. Also 16-17 MYs heads have the sharpe pointed snout tips instead of the less pointed unless they've been changed out. Overall I wouldn't be afraid of a those yrs. Love our GT.
