| I use technique similar to this video. I use the 3 bar/pipe method. Get 3 pipes about 12-16" long, 1.5 " in diameter.
Take front door off skid, especially if doing this by yourself. Can't get in and out cab with door on. Kubota guys can roll door up.
Once you loosen the set screw to release the grease, you will need to pull back the front idler tensioner. Easiest way is to wrap a chain or strap around the top of the track and over the lift arm. Slowly raise the lift arm and it will pull on the track and pull the tensioner back. The track will now be loose.
Put blocks or stands under back of machine. Use bucket to lift front of machine. Tracks will now be in the air.
Put the rear track on first over the drive sprocket and idler. Use pry bars to get in place
Now place the pipes over the front idler and between the teeth on the track. Skip every other tooth on the track with the pipe. Easiest to do this with 2 people but can do with one. Just need to get in and out of cab to place each pipe after rotate the track slightly if doing by yourself.
All 3 pipes will be over front of idler. The teeth of the track will now just clear the front idler. It is now easy to slide the track over the front idler with pry bar. Metal pipes slide easy over the metal idler. It does not take much force to slide track into position.
Now reverse the track and the pipes will fall out.
Add grease and retension track.
I can do this by myself but easier with 2 people. Did it on a bobcat T76 about 6 month ago by myself and I am 64.
