Highway 71 SW MN | I plant quite a few tomatoes and have to use 2 4-d and dicamba to go after random broadleafs around the yard/field and have to get really close to the tomatoes at times. I always make sure the wind is going away for a day or two if I can and lower the pressure. I usually prefer dicamba as they aren’t quite as sensitive to that as the 2-4d. FWIW, I have twisted up the leaves of tomatoes before and they grow out of it and have turned out really good. If the stems twist, then it’s game over. Just be careful and mindful, I haven’t killed mine yet. (Knock on wood) | |
