Subject: RE: Magnum 7150 fuel gauge cont.

Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

JD Farm 3 - 7/1/2025 18:43 I was able to get back to do some more diagnostic work in regards to my fuel gauge on the dash reading every other bar. I just did a continuity check on the top tank and got 47.9 ohms. The bottom tank I got 26 ohms. Both readouts I agree with compared to how full the tanks are. The bottom tank is full and the top is about half full. I ohmed out the grounds on both tanks and got 68 ohms on bottom tank. Top tank I got 19-21 ohms. My question is does the ground ohms sound correct?

I have attached the schematic that includes the fuel sender(s)

The ground for the senders is a clean ground. When testing the ground integrity keyed power must be off. 1 ohm or less is what a ground circuit needs to measure.
