Subject: Difficult conditions in eastern Oklahoma, record rainfalls, and planting

NE OK
This has been a difficult year for us. It will not stop raining and flooding. We managed to plant a little in April, a little in May, and then we really rolled for 4.5 days last week, but then it came a flood again(4.5" in 48 hours). We've gotten 40"+ of rain this year, and over 30 of it since mid April. Most of the wheat in the area is not out, and it's sprouting. The corn is somewhat ragged, and beans are ok in spots and not okay in others. We've still got a lot to plant the first time and then a lot to replant where it's drowned out. We were ready and really only passed a few days in April where we could have planted, but it was too dry to get to moisture, and then once it started raining it has never let up for more than a few days. It's difficult when you never have a chance to get your crop planted.
