My Kohler must have had a weak fuel pump, even when it was new. To prime it, I would have to put my mouth over the fuel intake and blow, while hitting the starter key. Without blowing, the dang thing never started. If left set for a week, start the blowing again, even with a full tank. I don't know if anybody else has experienced this problem.
