I dunno. I’ve used ultra black on almost everything for at least the last 10 years. The one time I didn’t was when I used an anaerobic sealant when putting the trumpet back on a 1066 after replacing the inner axle bearing and just my luck, the thing has had a weep since day 1. I assume the machining wasn’t tight enough.
