Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | As I understand your problem with your power beyond hose connected to the power beyond port and the return plugged into a motor return port, you get no action.
Try this: try activating one of the SCVs and see if the power beyond then comes to life. I had a planter with a Vac fan that was setup using power beyond, motor return and a small third line for load sense. The Vac fan ran whenever the tractor was running. If the third line was not plugged in, the power beyond would not deliver oil to the Vac Fan until, I used a regular SCV to do something. Then while the planter was raising or whatever, the Vac Fan would run.
The reason being that the system had no way of knowing that oil flow was being requested. If a regular SCV was being used an internal load sense passageway ramped up the pump. This was why the third small load sense line was needed to keep the Vac fan running at all times.
So if an SCV is running at all times, it will keep the pump ramped up. If an SCV is not running at all times, a third load sense line may be needed.
