I would like to understand what is happening.
I know oil expands when heated, but it looks to me that in the retracted position there would be way more volume above the piston and the base would have almost none. So how can the just the volume in the hose overcome the larger volume in the cylinder?
Unless there's other hyd circuits tied together.
