There is a detent you hit and have to go past to shut the engine off...................Sounds like someone shouldn't have been running said machine to begin with, not the fault of the engineering department.
……..It’s crappy engineering.
The little detent wears down and the throttle easily slides past it.
There’s a reason they went to the pull shut down.
