Ummm He listed a burndown program and a pre program... If both of those are use correctly... You shouldn't need to be going back for much... So maybe the problem is and has always been tightwad farmers not spending enough up front that lost roundup... Ever consider that...???? Just try a muti chemistry program all at max rate and see how much weed pressure you have??




The reason Rup quit working is because guys were relying on RUP by itself in both corn and beans, continuously for several years until it quit working.   There were lots of guys that applied NOTHING other than RUP for several consecutive years.    And to make matters worse, Monsanto was promoting such nonsense at the beginning.     It was only after the resistance writing was already on the wall that they started promoting residual products and tank mixes.

I fear that guys relying on Liberty to do the heavy lifting in both corn and beans continuously will eventually render Liberty ineffective as well.    Especially the guys that cut corners on applying Liberty, not enough water, wrong tips/bad coverage, not enough AMS, not warm/humid enough, not going back with another pass to finish off the weeds that are 1/2 dead, etc
