Have never found anything that you can paint or spray on a mower deck that works... What does work is to use a grinder and get it shiny(polished) and do your best to keep it that way... Then you can mow wet grass... Most lawn care places mow often enough almost every day that if you look will be shiny underneath... Have a 970R deere and if it's not kept clean it dosen't mow well... Mowing in actual rain does have enough water to self clean... Wet/damp grass dosen't... Also for easier cleaning and oiling deck drill a hole on non discharge side... weld a pipe bung there so you can attach a garden hose to wash out after each mowing... Then you can run a little diesel/oil after dry and it will stay shined up for next mowing... Make a whole different mower out of it...
