Subject: RE: Auction and/or Steffes question

NWC Ohio
Maybe the owner decided to wash n wax before his sale? Maybe the owner paid a mobile wash and wax service to come out and do it before having someone take pictures for his sale. Maybe the guy isn’t as meticulous as you in how he washes and waxes his equipment. Why are you so quick to blame the auction company for the guys equipment getting washed and waxed? Local Ag dealership used to pay a mobile cleaning service to come out to wash and wax tractors and combines that were traded in before they put them on the lot. Car dealerships run all their used trade ins through their detail shop for wash, wax, paint touch up (clay bar), interior cleaning and detail. Do you have a problem with that too?

Just be glad they didn’t just hose it down with water and take pictures. Also be glad they didn’t do the “xxxxxx Jockey overhaul” where they rub it with diesel fuel instead of an actual wax job.
