We had the tabless engineered shingles put on ours the last time 17 years ago, they are still there but noticed this spring there are a few leaks we need to address. Not sure what is causing the leaks in one spot I can see that something is loss, kind of disappointing as the original T locks made it almost 40years. Probably have to look into a low rib steel as others have said the next time, furring strips are probably not required other than giving the crew something to walk on.
