Once, when I was young, I got stuck stacking bales on a wagon behind one of those crossway JD balers baling wheat straw. Man, those bales must have weighed 100 pounds.
I have heard that sheep farmers prefer wire-tied bales because plastic twine can get tangled up in the wool.
