 North Central Iowa | Same deal, T locks latest over 40 years, couldn't get regular shingle to stay on because they jus hung down on the near verticle part and wind would jus tear sections off. After 2 failed attempts and several jus "nail them down and tar the nail heads"...lol
Stripped the roof down to original sheeting again, attached 2×4s and put steel on the rounded roof. Took alot of screws to work, but the Mennonite group did a great job.
DO NOT let somebody talk you into putting steel on horizontal! Got a building Dad let a Carpenter do that, not good, now it's my problem.
