Subject: JD116Wire Baler.

VT. 05461
The Wire square Balers of the past seem to have been modishly popular here. VT.
My parents move here,1950 and the neighbors had one, used alot.
Judging by the mountains of spent wire in their farm dumps I remember.
1960, New family bought the farm. He said he tried it with little success and bought a 14T.
Yesterday I learned a mile away there was another one, we didn't know them.
Interesting Baler , for sure.
A Friend had one in a Massive private collection of old Farm machinery which was sold last year.
In the barn I used to look it over, Engine, but gone. Needles bent up in the chamber.
He was given it, I think he had rolls of wire also. Why were they bought instead of Twine Baler?
Who else has some knowledge of These??
Picture or Two would be Great.
Thank You.
