We had our Quanset( 40 x 60) redone with metal roofing sheets probably 25 years ago. The ribs run vertically. 20 years ago, we insulated the interior and installed metal roof sheets with the ribs horizontal. Installed a tube heater and now have a nice indoor work area in cold weather.
