| Had a new 92 Ford F250 and I never was satisfied with the way it cooled. In hot weather would barely keep it comfortable. Dealer checked it 3-4 times, always said everything was good, pressures were fine. Blamed it on hot muggy weather, diesel engine. Service manager stuck a thermometer in the air outlet, said it was 60 degrees, just how cold did I want it? Knew right then he didn't know what he was doing. Went home, put a can of freon in, worked fine from then on.
Heard later the service manager got fired for incompetence. The dealer service rating had dropped quite a bit. | |
