SD | I have a new to me 2000 semi with a Detroit 60 series engine that will not start without putting battery charger on it. Charged batteries and they are putting out 13 volts as a group and unhooked them (all 4) and putting out the same individually. 13 volts at the starter as well, but truck dash only shows 10 volts and only clicks like dead batteries. Hook the booster up and it fires right up. What am I missing? Is it a ground issue somewhere or do I need new batteries? Why does it fire right up with a booster? Any insight would be appreciated. | |
